Merino Wool Scarfs

This beautiful fine but a sturdy scarf is made out of Merino wool and explicitly designed for those who appreciate a delicate, warm yet durable piece of clothing.

Merino wool is grown by merino sheep. It is incredibly soft and very fine, making it comfortable close to your skin. Naturally, it often gets compared to Cashmere wool that derives from the Changra goats. Merino wool has a stronger fibre, it is not only breathable and antimicrobial, but it's also anti-wrinkle, anti-static, stain resistant, flameproof, biodegradable, durable, and quick-drying. Therefore it is commonly used to make activewear garments as well as other everyday wear.

How to look after your scarf?

High heat can cause merino wool or any wool item to shrink. Therefore we recommend you to hand wash it, or use a hand wash cycle in the automated washing machine, and use low-temperature water.

Why should you get it?

This scarf was hand made using traditional methods by skilled women artisans in Nepal.

We partner up with the local artisans as our goal is to maintain traditional craft. If you choose to purchase it, inevitably, you will give a chance to sustain the jobs for the impoverished community.
